Musanadam Khasab Tour - The Experience:
Khasab is the capital town of Musandam that lies on the bottom of Wadi Khasab with breathtaking sceneries. In the early morning you are picked up from Dubai or Sharjah and drive through the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah for an exciting journey to the Khasab. From Rask Al Khaimah the drive becomes exciting as the road trip runs along the coast as well as the mountain with sharp hair-pin bends dropping slopes and steep elevations. The sea never leaves you during this trip and its beauty; sandy beaches as well as nature carved mountains absorb you completely and offer you an opportunity for photography. Once reaching Musandam Khasab harbor, you board onto the traditional Omani dhow to start a full day relaxed cruise to scenic 'Khor as-Sham', the largest fjord in Khasab. On your cruising trip you could spot tiny fishing towns and silages where old stone houses line up along the coastline adding aesthetics to your trip. The rare and delicate marine life is hosts to your Musandam Khasab trip, Dolphins being one of them who would delight you with their aerial acrobatics actions and playfulness. Once you reach the historic Telegraph Island, once a station along with the telegraph cable that linked London to Iraq's southern city of Basra and onwards to Bombay city in India, you would start your off-the-dhow-water activities that include swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear and shallow waters of the Telegraph and Seebi Islands. You may as well enjoy the nature without getting off and feast on onboard spread of traditional Arabic Coffee, Tea as well as fruit nuts. The cruise will spread out a sumptuous buffet lunch of continental and Arabic dishes and generous spread of fruits as well. You will later be back to the Khasab harbor by traveling through the fjords.
All our on-road vehicles that take you from Dubai / Sharjah up to Khasab harbors are completely insured. The Dhow used for your cruise is navigated by certified and experienced captains and hosted by the qualified crew. These are also equipped with the navigation compass, fire extinguishers, medical box and life jackets. We recommend you, however, to have your travel insurance in place.
